APA Style Online Tutorial
Our APA-Style course is now available. Enrollment is free.
The course is designed to teach you the basics of writing a paper in APA Style, and uses our APA-Style software, StyleEase for APA Style, to make the process easy. You can download a free trial version of StyleEase to use with your course.
The is designed to help you write your first APA-style paper, with simple assignments that help you work your way through your paper. The course is broken into 8 simple lessons, each of which can be completed in very little time. Optional assignments apply the lessons to construction of your first paper.
If you'd like to use the course, you need both a Moodle (courseware server software) login and an enrollment key for the course itself. Please follow these steps:

Set up an account on our Moodle courseware server. You just need to create a user name and password for your account; Moodle will almost instantly send you a confirmation link in an email message. Click that link, and you're logged in.

Obtain an enrollment key for the course you want to take, and enter that in the enrollment key field on our Moodle server.
To get an enrollment key for our APA-style course, send a blank email to apacourse@styleease.net. You'll receive your key back very quickly; usually within an hour or two.

Log in to your moodle account on our courseware server.

Click on the name of the course you're interested in, and enter the enrollment key. You can then start using the course.

If you're a firsttime Moodle user, please review the quick "Beginner's Guide to Moodle" at the top of the main course page. Most users benefit greatly from spending five or ten minutes with this information. |
